Flooding is nothing new in Singapore. I witness a few times.

Date: May 2010
General Description: First ever flood case.
Root cause: Water supply for washing machine not fixed properly.
Damage: Kitchen floor flooded. Laundry basket collected water & clothes wetted.
Incident No.: FL-00D-002
Date: Dec 2010/ Jan 2011
General Description: First case caused by inferior fixture material.
Root cause: Water spray from punctured sanitary spray rubber hose.
Damage: 1 toilet roll soak in water beyond salvage.

Date: 29 June 2011
General Description: Most dramatic case so far, again caused by inferior fixture material.
Root cause: The sanitary spray rubber hose snapped. Water gush out from the hose. Stopped at 5.30pm when witness arrived at scene. Starting time unknown.
Damage: Water stain first noted at the front door step. Bedroom, living room & kitchen were all flooded. Plenty of dust & hair found in puddle. We believed those were accumulated at least for a year under the bed and sofa. 1 pair of totally wet GEOX shoes belong to witness found in front of shoe rack. Victim took 1 hours to mop the house.
