Fetter Bär in der Tätigkeit wieder (in action again)

I enjoyed seeing the fat fat bear every morning. His position changed and he looks funny everyday. He makes me laugh.
Last night I attended my friend's wedding dinner at Noble House Restaurant, UIC Building. This is one of the restaurants under Tung Lok Group. It was very good. The food was served promptly and very delicious. As usual, the dinner started late at 8.30pm but it ended quite early at about 10.30pm. Our table, all the Sabahan, finished everything. The place might not be as grand as a hotel afterall we just want the guest to enjoy, right? I think we can more or less settle on this. Let's book 15 tables (minimum) once we decided the date.

I put on contact lenses yesterday and also make-up so I look a bit different. I look prettier!!! After the dinner, I took bus home. When I passed by the kopitiam downstair, the tauke niong stunt and praised, "Wah... Hou leng wor..." My heart was like, Hahaha... Hopefully next time can get discount when I buy food from her :p

When I don't smile, I look funny...

A group of us went out for dinner recently and took the following pictures. We tried the new japanese version of Marche at Raffles City. It's called Shokudo. The concept is exactly the same Marche. Food is so-so but the place is quite smoky. After dinner, we had ice cream at Ben & Jerry. I got my increment in Oct '08 so I bought ice cream :)

Best gift in Singapore is Malaysia's Pewter

I have a colleague leaving us and move on the another assignment in USA. As usual, people getting him a gift as a souvenir or as a token of appreciation. Our project group bought him a Pewter from Royal Selangor. Coincidently, his original functional group also bought him a Pewter from Royal Selangor.
So there is this saying, "The best gift we can get in Singapore is a Pewter from Malaysia".

Malaysia Boleh!

Where can we go in Singapore?

In March we need to bring our parents ard. The best is if we have cars. Most likely renting one that can fit 6 persons. We will be staying near Changi Ferry Terminal (near the sea) which is very near to the airport. Some of this places I have not been to.

Possible places that we can go
1. Sungei Buloh Wetlands and lim chu kang
2. Southern Ridges along the bridge
3. Tanah Merah Club via Changi Coast Road
4. Bintan/Batam one day tour
5.Labrador Park
6.Pulau Ubin
7.Sentosa
8.Marina Barrage
9. Terminal 3 to eat lunch or dinner
10. Keppel Island
11. Go Punggol for seafood or Defu Lane 10
12. Desaru and JB

Tentatively the plan is,
19/03/09 (Thursday)
Morning

Noon
We army-split-2-way... 兵分两路
Ung zai's parents will drive here from KL so that we can use the car in Singapore for that 2 days.
Ung zai fetch parents from JB CIQ around noon time. You can have all the Bakuteh you want before re-entering small island. Meet my 3rd sister at Kranji MRT. She's coming from Senai... Poor thing haha..
Meanwhile Miao Miao off work and meet parents at Changi. Flight from KK touch down at about 1.30pm. I'll bring them to T3 for lunch.

Evening & Night
Check in to Aloha Changi and take a rest. Stroll around the chalet area. Don't think there will be a lot to see. At night, dinner at 91 Defu Lane 10 - Seafood Paradise.
If we need to book, call 6487 2429.
After dinner go do some shopping in Pasir Ris. I think we need to buy breakfast for the next few days.

Morning & Noon
Dress up and prepare for ROM. Transport to Keppel Club Peony Jade. ROM starts at 11.30 and Lunch at 12pm. We shall sit there as long as possible. Laze around and take photos until the noon sun is over.
Need to rent a car for Friday & Saturday.

Evening
Get up to Southern Ridge and Keppel Island at about 4pm for more photo shooting. Hopefully that time is not too hot. Labrodor Park is not very beautiful. I think we can skip that.

Night
Dinner at Kitchener Road, Pu Tian Restaurant.

21/03/09 (Saturday)
