Baby night sleeping pattern
In the 0mo (Oct '14) baby slept almost all the time. she only woke up every ~2 hours for feed. Her stomach is so small that it can only hold that much of milk that last for 2 hours max. Occasionally she stay awake whole night because the concept of time did not exist in the womb.
1mo (Nov '14), we finished those few bottles, completely dropped the bottle feed and purely feed direct. Bb sometimes wake up every hour because milk intake from breast directly is more tiring so bb tends to drink less. This the most exhausting month. Mummy is constantly lack of sleep. On average 4 feeds a night.
2mo (Dec '14) onwards bb sleep stretch longer gradually. 4 hours sleep is a blessing to mummy. Average 3 feeds then reduced to 2 feeds a night.
3mo (Jan '15). Bb can almost sleep throughout the night waking up only once. Usually is around or between 3-4am. Her sleeping record so far was 930pm to 545am. But it would be good for mummy to wake up in the middle of night to pump milk to maintain the milk supply.
4mo (Feb '15) we started to sleep train bb. Day time nap is bb guided. She sleeps, eats, plays whenever she likes. Sleeps when tired. But night time sleep we tried to fix it around 9-10pm. So she will have a 6 hour stretch. How to sleep train? All the websites talk about the same thing, put bb down when drowsy but awake. Trust me it is tough to implement. We still have to nurse, cuddle, rock, sing, do all the stunt to make her sleepy. The moment I put her down she either fall asleep quickly or turn wide awake. If she goes zzz, good for us. If she fuss, I'll pat her, sing to her or give her a pacifier. She usually doesn't take pacifier. It's only for sleeping. If all tricks fail, try again. She will eventually get tired and defeated by the zzz monster.
5mo (Mar '15) Her night sleep further stretch to 6 hours long.

Baby diaper.... So many brands
I have been buying diapers for baby from nb, s and now m. From Feb '15 onwards (4mo) bb start trying on L diaper.
So far tried pampers, merries, Huggies, drypers, mamy poko. Next one to try is goon... on new year eve we brought sabrina to big box and bought 2 pack of goon. I was a bit disappointed with big box. Quite chaotic inside. We have a stockist ck which import diaper from thailand, indonesia and vietnam next to our home so we can buy JIT.
Bought Huggies pants L when bb is only about 7kg. Can't wait to see her wearing pants.
Mummy's Verdict
Merries (NB & S)- soft and absorption is excellent but more expensive. Not ecomical for newborn because newborn bb pee n poo all the time.
Drypers (S & M) - absorb water on the front part of the diaper. When it gets wet and heavy, it put pressure on nb bb who sleeps on her back all the time. This surely caused discomfort. Poo poo leak from the side girdle fast n furious. The absorbent material also breakup like the cheap sanitary pad after a while. So drypers is bad.
Pampers active baby (M) - the length is slightly too short. Pee pee leaked from the back of the diaper waist band.
Pampers baby dry (L) - soft and absorption is excellent. Good for overnight use.
Goo.n (M &L) - soft and good absoption. Quick dry. Ok for overnight use. 1 setback is the waist rubber band gets loosen pretty quickly. If bb actively kick her legs or lift her butt up n down, that's where pee n poo might leak. So advisable to pull / adjust the waist band whenever u carry the bb.
Mamypoko (S & M) - Good absorption for pee. For poo it is not bad and no leak so far. The material is a bit stiff. Bb wears it like adult wearing washed jeans. Not sure if that's comfortable for her delicate butt. Although M fits for 6-11kg but when bb turn 7.5kg, the diaper seems too short. It barely covers half her butt. Long waist cutting is important for night use. We experience a few leaks (both pee n poo) above the waist band.
Huggies pants (L) - Difficult to wear when baby still cannot stand yet. The material is hard. Similar to Drypers maybe slightly softer. The absorption is as bad as Drypers if not worse. I can see the poo liquid flow inside the diaper during changing. For pee it is ok as long as baby is wearing a bigger size.
As she grows bigger / fatter we stick to goo.n for a long while. When we go overseas we also try foreign brand. Comfy and Snugglers (AUS), ah (Nederland), First Price (Norway)

Staycation @ Changi Cove Xmas 2014
Changi Cove, located at Cranwell Rd near Changi Beach Club, Coastal Settlement, old Changi Hospital etc. Not quite accesible that explaines the tranquility. Not much human noise but the sound of birds chirping.
This hotel was opened in 2013. Most of the facilities still look quite new. 2 blocks are linked via a walkway. They don't serve food but only drinks.
Our room is facing greens. Nothing much to do at the hotel. Great place for rest and relax.
We had dinner n shopping at Changi Airport. And then spent most of the time nursing and playing with bb back in the hotel room. I had cups of complementary nespresso, too. The next day we had breakfast, stroll around the hotel compound n took a short walk along the boardwalk. Checked out at 12pm and lunch nearby then drove > 0.5 hours to reach home. That concludes our first ever staycation in Singapore.

Xmas 2014
Merry atmosphere with baby sabrina. Time for shopping spree. Bought a Kuka sofa from picket n rail but need to wait 3 months. Interestingly the so called branded sofa came shorter by 15cm. The size is somewhere in between 2-seater and 3-seater as if we order custom made sofa. What a surprise. New pair of specs after many year, Baby cot latex mattress , Braun buffel wallet, HTC one e8 and soon our first staycation. Organise a Xmas party at company from one paradise catering. Now looking forward to baby full moon lunch at peach garden. Let's celebrate and be merry.
