Happy Birthday 2009

I had my 28th birthday in KL. We went a few places, first to Pavilion and then to this place called 牛车水. This is my first time to Pavilion and it was astonishing!! The mall is big, new and comfortable. We can never find such mall in Sg. We also walk around Sg Wang and Time Square. Very tiring... Fell asleep at Wendy's. Luckily found this very local yong tau fu outside Sg Wang. If not, we would be super hungry.


After that we went to 牛车水. This place was established not long ago. Inside there are a few restaurants and many small stores. Each store is NOT mannad by anybody. Stuff there are quite cute but expensive. We had fun time loitering around and take pictures. This toy stall got nobody jaga the place. We pretend to be the cashier and customer. Spot me! See who is caught stealing the patung??

Anybody caught stealing any patung will be punished. No matter how famous or how friendly you are in the neighbourhood.

Besides store selling cute stuff, there is also a stage with Disney cartoon characters. Seems like there was a performance lately.

We had our dinner at Fullhouse, a lifestyle store and cafe. There is a mini car parked outside the cafe as the main attraction. Almost everyone likes to take picture with the car because it gives a strong urge to imagine yourself to be Mr Bean.The setting inside the cafe made us feel at home. We can pick up things randomly and take pictures with them. It was quite fun. But I think we played too much and we were really tired. We couldn't stop looking around for comfortable seat.

But when someone started to pick up mock food, it shows how hungry we are. So we stopped fooling around and sitting to order our dinner. Right after we made our order, we move around and continue our photo taking session.

Food & drinks here is quite simple. Taste good but the price is slightly on the high side. I have never had such a huge birthday cake before.
