As usual, we can never wait to see a new cool place. So this weekend we invaded U Town from the link bridge between the main campus and U Town.
There are at least 10 buildings constructed for different purpose.
2 of them are Graduate Residence. Enhanced securirty features such as gate and gigantic louver actually make them look like a prison. How does it feel like studying (and living) in a prison? :p
The overall design is quite impressive. Thanks to their environment friendly initiative, many old giant trees were conserved.
But I not very sure why they torture the tiny young trees by striping seemingly heavy light features onto the tree trunk. Maybe that's a form of training. Gambatte young trees!

Not only U Town has brought happiness to Ung, who always enjoys seeing new stuff. It has also somehow triggered my brainwave.

We looked forward to seeing another master piece, Yale-NUS College set open in 2013, nurturing our next generation.
